Attention to Our Department Students Who Wish to Take Summer School Courses from Other Universities

Article 4 of the Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide for the 2024–2025 Academic Year, approved by Balıkesir University Senate Decision dated 29.05.2025 and numbered 2025/14-3, and updated with the Decision dated 10.06.2025 and numbered 2025/16-10, titled “Balıkesir University Students Taking Courses from Other Universities”, is as follows:

4) Taking Courses from Other Universities by Balıkesir University Students:
Balıkesir University students are allowed to take courses from other state universities. Students must obtain approval from their department chairs regarding the content and credit suitability of the courses they wish to take at other state universities before enrolling.

According to Article 4 of the BAÜN 2024–2025 Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide:

Procedures for Our Faculty Students to Take Summer School Courses at Other Universities:

• Fill out and sign a petition to take courses from another university, attaching the course descriptions of the courses to be taken in the summer program.

• Obtain approval for the suitability of the course content by having the petition signed/approved by the faculty advisor and the Department Chair.

• Submit the approved petition to the Dean’s Student Affairs Office.
