The Presentation “Cultural Heritage, Art and Balıkesir University” and the “Sustainable Cultural Printmaking” Workshop Were Held at Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan
Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Balıkesir University and member of Printmaking Department, participated in academic and artistic activities organized within the Osh State University Faculty of Art in Kyrgyzstan.
On the first day of the visit program, Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş delivered a presentation titled “Cultural Heritage, Art and Balıkesir University.” During the presentation, the academic structure of Balıkesir University, its artistic production areas, and its international collaborations were introduced to the participants.
On the second day of the program, a printmaking workshop titled “Sustainable Cultural Printmaking” was organized. During the workshop, cultural heritage, the role of art in society, and the concept of sustainability were discussed through practical applications, creating an interactive learning environment with the participants.
The activities made significant contributions to the development of international academic and artistic collaborations.
