A workshop titled “Cultural Sustainability from Balıkesir” was held at Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burçak Balamber, Head of the Printmaking Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Balıkesir University, conducted a workshop titled “Cultural Sustainability from Balıkesir” within the Osh State University Faculty of Art in Kyrgyzstan.
During the event, the approach to cultural sustainability originating from Balıkesir was shared with participants in an international academic environment. Comprehensive knowledge and experience were presented on cultural heritage, local identity, sustainable art, and printmaking practices.
Focusing on the role of art in preserving, transforming, and transmitting cultural memory to future generations, the workshop brought together traditional and contemporary forms of production, creating an important environment for international artistic interaction among participants.
