Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş’s Exhibition “Earth Diary”
The solo exhibition titled “Earth Diary” by Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş, a faculty member of the Printmaking Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Balıkesir University, and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, has met with art enthusiasts.
The opening of the exhibition, held at the Faculty of Fine Arts Art Gallery, was attended by the Rector of Balıkesir University, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu; Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt and Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay; as well as academics and students. During the opening, guests examined the artworks and received information about the pieces from Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş.
Featuring nature-themed works, the exhibition interprets selected images from nature and bird figures through printmaking techniques. “Earth Diary” conveys the rhythm of nature and the aesthetic structure of the earth to viewers through the language of art.
Providing information about the exhibition, Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş thanked the guests who attended the opening. The exhibition, held at the Faculty of Fine Arts Art Gallery, will remain open to visitors until March 31, 2026.
