“Spatial Illusions” Exhibition by Burçak Balamber
The solo exhibition titled “Spatial Illusions”, prepared by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Burçak Balamber, was presented to art enthusiasts at the BAUN Faculty of Fine Arts Exhibition Hall between 5–16 November 2025. The opening event, held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, received great interest from academics, students, and art lovers.
The exhibition was produced within the scope of the BAP Project No. 2024/072, titled “Plate Production Using 3D Printers in Printmaking.” The works present original compositions combining three-dimensional printing technology with traditional printmaking techniques, aiming to offer an experiential approach that encourages viewers to reflect on spatial perception.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Balamber highlighted that printmaking continuously evolves through its interaction with contemporary art practices, stating that the technique employed adds a new dimension to relief printing, and expressed her gratitude to all contributors and participants.
