Training Program on “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Fine Arts Education” Held
As part of the train-the-trainer program, a training session titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Fine Arts Education” was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Burçak Balamber, faculty member of the Printmaking Department.
Within the scope of its digital transformation-oriented educational activities, Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts organized an applied training program focusing on artificial intelligence technologies. During the session, attended by the faculty’s academic staff, comprehensive evaluations were made regarding new possibilities offered by AI in art production, its impact on design processes, and its role within creative practices.
The program addressed AI-assisted visual production tools, data-driven design methods, creative coding, and innovations brought by contemporary AI applications to the fields of art and design. In addition to theoretical content, participants had the opportunity to experiment with various AI tools through hands-on practice and explore ways to integrate them into their own production processes.
The training, conducted as part of the faculty’s goal to adapt to the requirements of the digital age, aims to enhance students’ creative potential and increase technological awareness in contemporary art production. The Faculty of Fine Arts will continue to organize such events at the intersection of art and technology in collaboration with partner institutions.
